About Me

My Background

My own experience in therapy and curiosity about the relationship between mind and body inspired me to pursue a Masters in Social Service Administration at the University of Chicago. After graduation, I worked at the intersection of mental and physical health as a Behavioral Health Consultant at a community medical center. In transitioning to private practice, I was able to focus more specifically on relational, body-based styles of therapy and completed Levels 1 and 2 of Sensorimotor Psychotherapy training. Today, I weave somatic work into cognitive and skills-based approaches to provide clients with the best tools to meet their needs. Outside of work, I enjoy being outside and moving my body.

In our sessions…

  • Let’s be human. You aren’t a diagnosis, a label, or a statistic. All parts of you are welcome.

  • Let’s collaborate. You are the expert of your experience; let’s center the knowledge and strengths you bring to the room, while I bring evidence-based technique, warmth, and curiosity.

  • Let’s experiment. Let’s try something new. We won’t stick the landing every time. That’s part of life! Let’s figure out what really works for you.

  • Let’s laugh. There’s a time to lean into what’s heavy, and a time to lean into what’s absurd and joyful. Let’s make space for both.
